Bucket List of Alpine Hikes in the Pacific Northwest # 9: Cathedral Pass

Memories, memories, memories. Elk hunting, fishing, hiking, camping – – – the Alpine Lakes Wilderness brings back fond recollections of all.

Almost 600 square miles of high mountain country to explore. Robin and Tuck Lakes, the Ramparts, the Enchantments, Ingalls Lake, Mt. Stuart, Spectacle Lake, and the list goes on.

For this visit I chose the hike to 5,500-foot Cathedral Pass, and the intersection with the Pacific Crest Trail, to visit the many tarns and grassy meadows in the area.
