Silver Star at its Peak and Wild Lilies too

Silver Star Mountain is easily visible from much of the Portland and Vancouver area, and is located about 28 crow-flying miles northeast of home. In late spring I hiked to its summit from Grouse Vista. The outing was described in a previous blog post.

Due to the variety of photography opportunities, I decided to split the photos in two. This is the second batch focusing on lilies.

  1. A really beautiful place—close enough to visit from time to time.
    Lucky, you are!

    • Living in Portland is great for an outdoors-minded person. Silver Star Mountain, the Columbia River Gorge, the Cascades and the Oregon Coast are all nearby. Lucky, I am!
