A Visit to the Rose Garden and Council Crest

A cold, crisp morning greeted me as I opened the curtains.

After putting on some warm clothes, I threw on the daypack and grabbed the camera.

Besides city streets, I followed the Wildwood Trail, Marquam Trail and SW Urban Trail no. 6 for portions of the eight-mile outing.

Sometimes it’s nice spending three hours hiking without having to do any driving at all.

  1. The crow picture, with the comment regarding his recent meal, is a fine example of the power of photography.
