Champoeg with My Favorite Model

A pleasant five-mile hike along the Willamette River on a beautiful Indian Summer day.

Leaves on hardwood trees beginning to turn their autumn colors, squirrels collecting acorns for their winter stash, mushrooms pushing through the soil and songbirds singing.

The Champoeg Park area is an enjoyable place to visit in the fall especially with my favorite model.

There is something a little magical about mid-October in the Willamette Valley.
