Renewing Old Friendships

It’s fascinating to attend the reunion of your high school graduating class. Even though it may have been many years since seeing some of the folks, at times it feels as if time hasn’t moved.

Many of the friendships seem as vibrant as they did on the day of graduation.

As I mentioned in my previous post, wildfires were dominating the scene. The heavy smoke was almost overpowering.

But old friends Dennis and Nancy organized a fun event for all of us at a local winery. And, the next night put on a very enjoyable party at their home overlooking the Okanogan River.

Between Dennis’s hotrod cars and the historic soda fountain in their large garage, we had a great time. Watching the flames on the ridges from the active wildfires above Omak gave an exciting touch to the event.

  1. Thankyou for the pictures and being at the reunion with your lovely wife. We always have a great time don’t we? Look forward to our next visit. Dennis Carlton

  2. I love every blog you post. But I have to admit that for as many years as I’ve been following along, I feel like Dan is my old friend too. When he shows up in picture I think “Oh, there’s Dan and all his lovely locks!” Of course, my favorites are when Teryn makes a celebrity appearance.
