The Great Snow Storm

Portland can handle rain storms very well. But, snow and ice are another story.

In early January a record snow storm hit the City, 14″ in the hills.

Sad to say, but most roads in the City are never plowed or sanded, now matter how long the snow lasts. It’s like living in an episode of Portlandia.

Four days later and there still is an eerie silence in the hills above the City.

Aah, but there is the beauty of the clear, blue skies and the snow-covered scenery.

Life is always full of surprises.
