International Rose Test Garden Celebration

On a nice Saturday afternoon we hiked down to Washington Park and then turned uphill to the International Rose Test Garden.

It is the oldest public garden of its kind in the United States. There are over 7,000 rose plants and about 550 varieties.

This year is their centennial anniversary. Many people were enjoying the beautiful roses in bloom.

The following photos are just a sample of the offering and, of course, can never capture the amazing scents and colors of the garden.
