Waterfalls

The world-class waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge are always worth visiting.

My old friend Dan was visiting so I decided to take a drive up the western section of the Gorge. It was a cloudy early summer day.

We were not the only ones with the same idea, but the scenery was magnificent.

I’m always amazed at the abundance of outdoor beauty that exists close to Portland.

  1. Lovely area. Say hi to Dan for me. There is some talk of a reunion next year. Watch the Omak fb page for it.

  2. Love the rushing waters! Waterfalls bring such tranquility to my mind. If it was the Dan I know, I’ve missed seeing him – glad you had the chance to visit. Thank you again for such beautiful pictures.

  3. Magnificent falls, John, thanks for the tour. We went to Falls Creek Falls today, per your suggestion, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The Gorge is abundant with falls. Thanks so much for sharing your findings with us.
