Mt. Hood

On a sunny fall day I returned to the east side of the Cascades to do a little exploring, and photography.

The first destination was Dufur, about 15 miles south of The Dalles.

Of course, Mt. Hood dominated the horizon no matter where I went, making the scenery that much more spectacular.

After an enjoyable stop in the Dufur area, I headed west to Highway 35. From there it was a very picturesque drive home.
