Cooper Mountain with my favorite model

On a warm pleasant August day we decided to visit a relatively new nature park in Beaverton, west of home. Cooper Mountain Nature Park covers 230 acres and has about 3 1/2 miles of trails.

We hiked most of the trails in the Park and were favorably pleased with the job the recreation district had done. Some scattered wildflowers were in bloom, the trails led through several nice oak savannah areas, and views of the Tualatin River Valley were available in a few spots. A pretty nice place to visit.
