Mule Deer and Sagebrush

While staying at the Wilson Ranches B&B near Fossil, OR we spent a few days visiting the very interesting and wide-spread units of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.

Returning from one of our day trips, we passed by the small outpost of Service Creek. Several small bunches of mule deer were spotted nearby. They are always fun to photograph.
