Delicate Ice Artistry


Begin with six to eight inches of snow spread over several days.

Add freezing rain.

Soon everything is covered with glaze ice.

The results are magical.

    • I thought I could have been in NZ three weeks ago when taking photos of wildflowers in bloom on the eastern end of the Columbia River Gorge. Or, as a friend committed, maybe the wildflowers thought they were in NZ.
