Mt. Hood

On a sunny, early June day, I drove to the northeast side of Mt. Hood. There was too much snow to hike, but the blue skies and fresh snow on the mountain made for an impressive scene.

After enjoying the clear views of the mountain, I drove south to the White River parking area. This provided great views of Mt. Hood above the Meadows ski area.

Several days later I drove west into the Coastal Mountains. Vernonia Lake was especially pretty on a sunny, windless day.

What a time to live in the Pacific Northwest!
