From Pre-pandemic Days
In early October I spent five days in the John Day country. On the third day of the trip I journeyed to the Sheep Rock Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.
After a visit to the Mascall Formation, I was off to the Historic James Cant Ranch on the John Day River.

John Day River
It’s always fun perusing the period wagons, tractors and buildings from the early days. And, the River Trail had many varieties of small birds to keep me company.
