Multiple Volcanos

Sisters, Oregon, is a true gem with its majestic mountains, volcanic landscapes, wildflowers, and abundant wildlife. During our visit at the end of summer, we were absolutely captivated by the area’s beauty. And guess what? We had a bit of luck! On our first night, a storm rolled in, bringing fresh snow to the top 2,000 feet of the Three Sisters.

The next morning, the storm clouds had cleared, revealing beautiful blue skies. The sun shining off the fresh snow on the tall volcanic peaks was spectacular. We couldn’t have timed it better.

Autumn Scenery

The recent wildfires have left their mark on the landscape, but the forest is showing incredible signs of strength and new beginnings. The open spaces that were once scorched are now soaking up the sun, which is helping new grasses and bushes to grow. This creates a perfect home for animals like deer and elk.

Sisters is a truly wonderful place to visit in late summer and early fall.
