In mid-April we decided to take an enjoyable visit to the Oregon Coast near Lincoln City.
It’s a short hop, skip and jump from Portland (90 miles) but like being in a different universe.
There’s always something magical about the Oregon Coast.

Crashing waves

Sand bluffs along the beach

Young Gull splashing in the D River

Sunset over the Pacific Ocean

North end of beach at Lincoln City

Tulip

Highway 101 Bridge over the D River (shortest river in the world?)

Huckleberry flowers

Sun setting into the ocean

Surf during high tide

Last rays of sunlight on the beach

Tulips
Great pictures John. We live in an amazing place!
Thanks Tim. You would have enjoyed our hike today. We did the loop on Oak Island, and the bald eagles are back.
I love those sand bluffs and those waves are spectacular.
Thanks for the kind words. The Oregon Coast is a grand place to visit.
Your own piece of paradise.
