A Visit to the Portland Japanese Gardens

On a nice Saturday afternoon we hiked to the Portland Japanese Garden.

It is located above the International Rose Test Garden and Washington Park in a beautiful setting.

Over the last year the Garden had been expanded with some new attractions. I was looking forward to visiting it.

We were not disappointed. The rock gardens, flowers and exhibits were top notch.

I’ll be returning this fall when the Japanese maple leaves turn their amazing fall colors.
