Gardens

On a nice, but cloudy morning, we visited the Portland Japanese Garden.

It is located above the International Rose Test Garden and Washington Park in a beautiful setting.

As members we were able to visit before the normal daily opening. It was very soothing and pleasant, especially given all the issues around the coronavirus outbreak.

We were not disappointed. The rock gardens, flat garden and exhibits were top notch.

I’ll be returning this fall when the Japanese maple leaves turn their amazing fall colors.
