Islands

Oak Island is an island within Sturgeon Lake. Sturgeon Lake is a lake within Sauvie Island, the largest island along the Columbia River and one of the largest river islands in the nation.

On a hazy day, we hiked around Oak Island.

My Favorite Model

Amazingly enough, we were the only ones at the trailhead.

We enjoyed seeing several blacktail deer, and a few small birds.

The wildflowers had pretty much all bloomed out.

Always a nice place to visit.
