Haunts of Halloween in the Pacific Northwest

Autumn Leaves

I enjoy exploring the urban woods and surrounding areas near home.

In late October the transition to winter has begun. Red, yellow and orange maple leaves dancing in a light breeze, falling from their trees.

It’s one of my favorite times of the year.

Wine and Sturgeon

When the weather is still nice, short trips make for fine outings. A tasting flight at a world-class winery and watching sturgeon at the Tanner Creek Hatchery in the Columbia River Gorge are two favorites.
