Butterflies, Juncos and Urban Deer


Butterflies

In the steep greenways and nature parks in the West Hills of Portland are many places to spot wild animals, birds, wildflowers and butterflies. And, sure enough, in early June I spotted my first butterfly of the year. It was a admiral.

As early spring turns to warmer weather, a greater variety of flowers are in bloom.  They make for colorful scenery, as do the early berries ripening.
