Islands

Sauvie Island is the largest island along the Columbia River and one of the largest river islands in the nation.

On a dreary, drizzly day, I drove to the Island to spot migratory birds.

Multnomah Channel

Sandhill Cranes and Canada Geese were spotted, but they did not let me get very close for photography.

Still, it is always a nice place to visit.
