In late March we made a pleasant visit to the Oregon Coast, staying at the SeaQuest Inn bed-and-breakfast near Yachats.
Florence to the south is famous for its sand dunes. Near Florence is the Darlingtonia Botanical Gardens, established by the state to protect the only carnivorous plant in Oregon.
Old town Florence is a delightful place to stroll, very colorful.
The botanical gardens were interesting too. I had never seen a “cobra lily” before.
There is always something to see or learn on the Oregon Coast.
