A shy Spotted Towhee
That sparrow is giving you the eye. 🙂 The water pics remind me of the green of Alabama.
The sparrow was singing a pretty song, and keeping a close eye on me at the same time.
We were listening to the birds outside our house the just this past weekend. The trees in the backyard are full of them…little wrens, and other birds I can’t identify as easily yet. They were singing. It’s so relaxing just to sit and listen to them.
Songbirds and butterflies are some of nature’s most beautiful creations.
Remember that next time you lament the proscription of DDT. 🙂
